Sharif | Faust Lawyers, Ltd., operates its website, located at www.shariffaust.com (“the “Website”), and blog located at www.shariffaust.com/blog (the “Blog”).  The blog is owned by Sharif | Faust Lawyers, Ltd. (“Sharif | Faust”).  You are permitted the nonexclusive and limited right to access, use, and display for non-commercial purposes the Blog and the Website insofar as you agree to and abide with these Terms of Use.

  1. No Attorney-Client Relationship. An attorney-client relationship can only be created through the execution of a written attorney-client agreement.  Reviewing the contents of the Website or the Blog will not create an attorney-client relationship.
  2. No Legal Opinions.   6. Trademark. Sharif | Faust asserts trademark and/or service mark rights in the Dragon and Shield logo and the word marks “Sharif | Faust Lawyers, Ltd.”, “Sharif | Faust Lawyers”, “Sharif | Faust”, and any other combination of words or symbols that is likely to confuse a consumer.
  7. Licensed Use. Licensed use of any of Sharif | Faust’s intellectual property requires appropriate attribution.
  8. External Links. The Website and/or the Blog may, from time-to-time, link to external sources (e.g., others’ blogs or websites).  These links are provided as a courtesy for the readers and Sharif | Faust makes no representations or warranties to any such external sources because we are unable to verify or control the content, materials, goods, services, or information contained on such external sources.  Accessing these external sources is done so at your own risk.  Sharif | Faust maintains the right to remove any link at any time.
  9. DMCA Notification. Sharif | Faust respects the intellectual property rights of others, and, upon proper notice, Sharif | Faust will remove comments, posts, messages, or other submissions to the Website or Blog that violate copyright law.  Sharif | Faust maintains the right to suspend access to the Website and Blog (in full or in part) to any user who violates copyright law.  Pursuant to section 512 of the United States Copyright Act, Sharif Faust review written notification of alleged infringement.  If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please provide us “Notification of Infringement” that includes all of the following: (1) a specific identification of the work you believe to have been infringed, (2) the content or material that you contends to infringe upon your work, (3) contact information (including, email address, physical address, telephone number), (4) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the claimed infringement is not authorized, (5) a statement that you are the owner of the infringed work, or that you are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf (in which case you must also identify your capacity to act on behalf of the owner), (6) a statement that the above are made under penalty of perjury of the laws of the United States of America, (7) any documents which you believe to support your claim, and (8) your physical or electronic signature.  By submitting your Notice of Infringement, you agree that Sharif | Faust will be authorized to forward the Notice and all related communications and/or documents to the users who posted the alleged infringement identified therein.  Do not send such notices to Sharif | Faust’s authorized agent for service of process, instead, Sharif | Faust’s designated DMCA agent is:
